Adobe запускает программу 3D PDF

Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) объявила о запуске конкурсной программы 3D PDF. Цель конкурса - создать библиотеку 3D примеров в формате PDF, в которой будут опубликованны различные материалы, созданные с помощью технологии Acrobat 3D.

Предполагается, что в конкурсе примут участие CAD/CAE специалисты, специалисты различных областей промышленности, проектировщики и конструкторы.

Конкурс будет проходить с 15 октября 2007 по 31 июня 2008.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) is hosting its first 3D PDF contest. The purpose of the contest is to create a library of example 3D PDFs that expose the cool things that can be done with Acrobat 3D. The contest is aimed at CAD and CAE developers, AEC designers, Industrial designers, 3D modelers, and CAD technical publishers.

Entry is simple and fast with several options:

• Share your existing 3D PDF files
• Use the free trial version of Acrobat 3D to convert your existing 3D models into a 3D PDF
• Embed a 2D or 3D CAD model into a PDF as part of a technical publication.

Entrants could win from valuable prizes that include a Dell Precision M4300 laptop, Apple iPhone, Apple Video iPod, 3Dconnexion navigator, Adobe software and more. Winners will also receive recognition on the Acrobat User Community website.

The contest runs from Oct 15, 2007 until Jan 31, 2008.
