Dynamic Design Solutions анонсирует выход FEMtools 3.1.2

Dynamic Design Solutions announces the release of FEMtools 3.1.2. This maintenance release is a recommended upgrade for all users providing performance improvements and several user-requested extensions. Some of the highlights are

  • Extension of the ABAQUS, ANSYS and NASTRAN translators to support more element types.
  • Definition of element orientation for use with orthotropic and anisotropic materials has been extended to support methods used by ANSYS and NASTRAN.
  • A script for the computation of kinetic and strain energy fractions in superelements and the residual structure is added.
  • A new utility is provided to generate local rectangular coordinate systems with local z-axis parallel to the normal-to-surface of surface nodes. These coordinate systems can be used in FRF synthesis, modal pretest analysis, and modal correlation analysis.
  • Coordinate systems are now generated by the sensor selection methods (pretest analysis) when simulating normal-to-surface measurements.
  • The SEAMAC sensor selection method has been optimized for faster execution and reduced memory requirements.
  • The tool for generating and editing tracelines between test locations has been reworked.
  • Local coordinate systems are now exported to Universal File (test model data) for use in modal test software.
  • FEMtools Script programmers can benefit from 15 newly added functions and extended functionality of existing functions.

Customers with current support and maintenance can find more information on this release and how to download the installation packs in the FEMtools Support site.
