PTC Design Award
The PTC Design Awards Competition is an international forum for PTC customers to display successful product design achievements using PTC solutions. Awards are given in each of seven industry categories: consumer, education (K-12), education (college and university), high-tech and electronics, heavy equipment, life sciences, and transportation.

"Using PTC Pro/ENGINEER along with highly detailed assembly modeling practices helped optimize the 300 series skid steer hydraulic and hydrostatic plumbing for the best possible assembly and serviceability while maintaining the smallest possible overall packaging," said Matt T. Deutmeyer, designer, Skid Steer Hydraulics, John Deere Dubuque Works, Worldwide Construction and Forestry Division.

"The participants in this year's PTC Design Award Competition not only rose to the challenge of the event, but exceeded expectations,” said Mark Hodges, divisional vice president, customer support and operations, PTC and member of the PTC/USER Board of Directors. "Deere and Company’s winning design demonstrates the powerful capabilities of PTC’s software solutions and underscores the innovation and commitment to product excellence that characterizes the PTC/USER community.”

An expert panel of judges including individuals from several major engineering publications participated in the judging for the PTC Design Awards Competition.
